I just got back into Danbury today from the 2008 Martial Arts Supershow hosted by Century and the Martial Arts Industry Association (MAIA) in Orlando Florida. It was an awesome time. And yes, the heat is much WORSE than here in Brookfield. I found myself wishing to be back in the heat of Connecticut.
I got to rub elbows with some of the biggest names in the martial arts world: Matt Hughes, Joe Lewis, Fumio Demura, Matt Mullins, Roland Osborne, Dr. Robyn Silverman and many more. It was a great experience. They all say “Hello”.
Possibly the best part for me was that I was asked to be a speaker this year. I shared information with other school owners to help them improve their own schools. It was a lot of fun and a huge honor. But it is an honor that I owe to our students and families at Zandri’s Martial Arts.
Over the next few days I will post back here on the Supershow as I sort through my videos and notes. For now, here is a treat. Matt Mullins brought his great performance team “Sideswipe” to perform during the opening ceremonies.
